What this website does with personal data, written for the site as it runs today: an enquiry form, a mailbox, and nothing that tracks you.
Last updated October 2026.
1. Who is responsible
The company responsible for personal data handled through this website is ThuisVers C.V., registered address Helmersstraat 143, 3071 AD Rotterdam, Netherlands, KVK number 97131083. ThuisVers Tech is the shop name under which the company trades. Questions and requests about your data go to hello@thuisverstech.com.
2. What this site collects
Browsing this site sends nothing to anyone but the servers that deliver it. The pages set no cookies, load no analytics or advertising scripts, and fetch no fonts, images or code from other companies. The only personal data the company receives is what you choose to send: through the enquiry form (your name, email address, the topic, an optional listing reference and your message) or by email. If an enquiry turns into an order, the company also records the delivery and invoicing details needed for that order.
The server that delivers the site keeps the usual access logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser type) for a short period for security and fault-finding; they are not used to identify visitors.
3. Why it is used
Enquiry details are used to answer the enquiry and to prepare a quote, which is a step towards a contract with you (article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Order details are used to carry out the sale and to keep the invoices and accounts that Dutch tax law requires (article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Questions that are not about a purchase are answered on the basis of the company's legitimate interest in replying to the people who write to it (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your details are not used for marketing, are not sold, and no automated decisions are taken about you.
4. How long it is kept
An enquiry that does not lead to an order is deleted twelve months after the last message in the conversation. Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, the retention period that Dutch tax law sets for business administration, and then deleted.
5. Who else sees it
Two service providers process data on the company's behalf: Cloudflare, Inc., which delivers the website, forwards the mailbox and runs the small service that receives the enquiry form, and Google LLC, which provides the mailbox in which messages are read and answered. Both work under their data processing terms; where they handle data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Once an order is placed, the carrier that delivers it receives your name, address and, for delivery updates, your email address or telephone number. No one else receives your data unless the law requires it.
6. Your rights
You can ask what data the company holds about you, have it corrected or deleted, ask for its use to be restricted, object to its use, and receive a copy in a common file format. Send the request to hello@thuisverstech.com; it is answered within a month. If you are not satisfied with how the company handles your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
